Cloyce "Ned" Pinkerton

Cloyce "Ned" Pinkerton, age 68, of Newhope, died Friday, May 8, 2015. He was born on October 21, 1946 at Newhope, the son of Otis Pinkerton and Marjorie Hill Pinkerton. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Claudel Pinkerton. He was a retired logger and enjoyed working on cars. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Justin and Toni Pinkerton of Newhope and James and Jessica Pinkerton of Kirby; two daughters and one son-in-law, Sarah Pinkerton of Glenwood and Carla and Larry Mack of Kirby; four grandchildren, Miranda Mack, Aaliyah Mack, Aiden Lemons and Hunter Guarisco; and his sister, Ann Young of Newhope. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 12, 2015, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Bro. Raymond Dees officiating. Visitation will be Monday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in Bissell Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jacob Irvin, Richard Alexander, James Russell, Jeremy Gadbury, Russell Young and Dewayne House.
