Clois Needham

Clois Carroll Needham, Sr. of North Little Rock Arkansas passed away on January 11, 2014, surrounded by his family. Born on August 7, 1927, he was 86 years old.
A lifelong resident of Arkansas, Clois Needham served during World War II and Korean War as a medic in the U. S. Air Force and U. S. Army. He retired from the Veterans Affairs Hospital at Ft. Roots, NLR, after a 30 plus year career in the psychiatric medical field and devoted over 28 years working with the Lakewood Property Owners Association, the community where he made his home the past 50 years.
He is preceded in death by his treasured family members: son, Clois Carroll Needham, Jr.; first wife, Mary Ruth Bain; and sister, Lois Pennington.
He is survived by his beloved family: son, Gary W. Needham (Melinda); granddaughters, Stephanie Needham and Jessica Benitone (Todd); great-granddaughters, Grace and Bella Benitone, all of Memphis, Tennessee daughter, Pamela Davis Needham, and former wife, Bonnie Davis Needham, of Nashville, Tennessee,
Needham, an avid hunter, was a founding member of the Rattler Deer Club and a Free Mason of Knoxville Arkansas, Lodge No370.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, at the North Little Rock Funeral Home, with visitation immediately preceding, from 10 am to 11 am. Following the service, burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, Pine Bluff, Arkansas, in the Needham Family plot.
