Clint Fontenot

Clint Fontenot, age 41, of Arkadelphia, passed away on July 3, 2024. He was born in Columbia, Louisiana to Johnny and Clara Louise Stephens on May 9, 1983. Clint was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Stephens; his grandparents Evelyn & Cecil Fontenot; and Mr. & Mrs. Leon Stephens.

Clint worked the dry kiln at the Sawmill. He loved video games, music, target practice, and family. His favorite sports teams are LSU, the Cowboys, and the Bengals. He could also grill a wonderful Boudin Steak and Teriyaki Chicken! He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Amber Fontenot; his mother, Clara Louise Stephens; his daughters, Abreanna Aguilar (Alec), Jaicey Jackson, Reacheal Davis, Skylar Rowland (Wyatt), Nakai Whitworth, and Cierra Jackson (Braiden); grandchildren, Aiden Spence, Emily Aguilar, Lucas Salas, and one more on the way; brothers, Chris Kelly and Jared Stephens, one sister, Jana Stephens; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of wonderful friends. 

A visitation will take place on Friday, July 12, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Smith Family Funeral Home-Glenwood. 

The funeral service will take place on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Smith Family Funeral Home-Glenwood.

Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery. 

Pallbearers include Clay Rogers, Kaine Poland, Patrick McDade, Steven Turner, Jarod Stephens, Chris Kelly, Ronnie Waggoner, Jr. and Matt Beck. 

Honorary pallbearers are the Resolute Sawmill employees, Mike Beck, Chris Hopper, Orey Doss, Travis Erickson, Alec Aguilar, Chris Ragsdale, Brice Ragsdale, Jordan McKellar and Cody McDade.
