'Retired Master Chief Clifton Lee Bearden, born in Ladonia, Texas on January 7, 1932, raised and lived in the Hot Springs, Arkansas area, peacefully went home on May 6, 2019 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Irma G. Bearden and his eldest daughter, Coleen Marie Bearden-Craig and granddaughter, Ashlea Dawn Hughes. He is survived by his daughter, Melanie Sue Bearden; his grandchildren, Branden Lee Bearden and Caitlyn Marie Craig; his surviving siblings, Bettie Hodges, Melba Ward and Bobby Bearden; a plethora of cousins, nieces, nephews and many long- time friends.
