Clifton "Cliff" Clarence Baugh

Clifton “Cliff” Clarence Baugh went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at the age of 83.  He was born in Jefferson, Arkansas on April 8, 1939, to the late Franklin Pierce and Pearl Dalby Baugh.  He was reared in Jefferson alongside his 4 brothers and received his education in the White Hall School District.  Clifton married the love of his life, Helen Marie Veazey, on June 15, 1963.  He was a skilled trim carpenter by trade and was retired from the maintenance department of NCTR in Jefferson.  Clifton fiercely loved his wife, his 3 sons and daughters-in-law, and 9 grandchildren.  He was extremely proud of his Baugh family heritage and enjoyed the beauty of God’s creations. 

He was preceded in death by his oldest son, Clifton “Carl” Baugh (Pam), whom he dearly loved.  Also preceding him in death were 3 brothers:  William “Bill” Harris Baugh, Sr., Alvin Louis “Bud” Baugh and Franklin Pierce Baugh, Jr. 

Clifton is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Helen Baugh of Jefferson; a son, Calvin Curtis Baugh (Shelley) of Edmond, OK and a son, Clayton Chuck Baugh (Traci) of Bryant, AR.  Other survivors include his brother Jimmy Wayne Baugh of Jefferson and 9 grandchildren of whom he was very proud:  Autumn Louise Baugh of White Hall, Madison Elise Baugh and Meredith Delaney Baugh both of Edmond, OK., Layton Charles Baugh, Laci DeAnna Baugh, Leah Adelle Baugh, Lucille Louise Baugh, Lillian Pearl Baugh and Lilah Marie Baugh, all of Bryant, AR, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Baugh will be buried at the Jefferson Cemetery at a private, family ceremony at a date to be determined.
