Clifton Dee Bailey passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was born in Yell County on February 28, 1937, to the late Walter Clay and Emerline Bailey. He was a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church. He owned and operated Cliff's Glass and Trim for 27 years and then began his commercial and residential property business.
Clifton is preceded in death by his wife Pauline Bailey, Son-in-Law Hank Anderson, brothers Clayton C. Bailey, Stinson Bailey, and E.C. Bailey, sisters Carolyn Bailey, Dorothy Wilkins, Jewel Dean Byrd, and Betty Harp.
Clifton is survived by his wife Jean Bailey, daughters Linda Anderson, Connie Brown, Donna Elmore (Mark), grandchildren Clint Anderson (Melaine), Matt Brown (Katie), Luke Brown (Ashley), Chelsi Brasher (Brett), Maegan Tilley (Andrew), Carlee Fox (Grant), thirteen great-grandchildren,; brother, Jimmy Bailey ( Sheila) sisters: Wilma Hughes (Rodney), Kay Freeman (Phillip); and many family members and friends who love Clifton and will Miss him always .
A celebration of life will be Monday, December 19, 2022 at Smith Benton Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. with the service following at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Rosemont Cemetery in Benton. Pallbearers will be Clint Anderson, Matt Brown, Luke Brown, Brett Brasher, Andrew Tilley, and Grant Fox. Honorary pallbearer will be Mark Elmore.
