Clifford Holmes

Clifford Ross Holmes, of North Little Rock passed away Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the age of 84. He was born January 29, 1923 to the late Oddie A. Holmes and Eva J. Holmes in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He was a retired Car Inspector for Union Pacific Railroad where he worked for 40 years.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Martha Shaw Holmes; three children, Nancy J. Howard, Gary W. Holmes, all of North Little Rock and Michael K. Homes, of St. Petersburg, Florida; two grandchildren, Richard Bernard, of North Little Rock and Donnetta Woodruff, of Malvern; two great-grandchildren, Breanne Woodruff and Myka Woodruff, both of Malvern; and a sister, June Motley, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Clifford was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 P.M., Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Ballard officiating. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
