Cleburne Lewis, age 73, of Black Springs, died Wednesday, December 14, 2011. He was born on March 21, 1938, at Board Camp, the son of Burk Allen Lewis and Eula Virginia Caughran Lewis. On April 15, 1960, he was married to Wilma Brunt. He was retired from U.S. Motors in Mena; and served with the Norman Volunteer Fire Department for twenty-five years. He is survived by his wife, Wilma Lewis of Black Springs; three children, David Lewis and his friend, Tracy Smith, of Langley, Kathy Mitchell of De Queen and Becky Lewis of Black Springs; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 18, 2011, in the Black Springs Cemetery with Bro. James Black officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday evening, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
