Claudia Carol Curtis Newton, 71, of Little Rock, passed away June 24, 2018. She was born May 26, 1947 to Donnis Curtis and Dewey Curtis, Jr., and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband, William F. "Sonny" Newton, Jr. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her brother Robert (Melissa) Curtis; two sisters, Ann (Johnny) Frazier and Sherry (Warren) Goforth; eight nieces and five nephews along with numerous other family and friends.
Claudia is preceded in death by her parents; and son, Christopher Sherrill Newton.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Morgan Cemetery in Little Rock.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Pulaski County, 14600 Colonel Glenn Rd, Little Rock, AR 72210.
