Clarice Edna Brickell

Clarice Edna Brickell, 86, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away July 20, 2024. She was born March 11, 1938, in Salado, Arkansas to the late Clarence and Verble Presley. 

Clarice is preceded in death by 52 days by her husband, George Brickell, brother, Noel Presley and sister, Agnus Callahan. She is survived by her children, Gale Brickell and Keith Brickell (Marilyn); grandchildren, Nicholas Allison (Leigh), Jordan Allison, Justin Brickell, Skyler Cunningham, Derek Brickell (Meagan), Cameron Cunningham, Kelly Standley (Tylor), great-grandchildren, Maddie, Lily, Jackson, Luke, Kara, Zoey, Marcella, Makenzie, and Nora; brother, JB Presley; and a host of family and friends. 

Clarice spent her life serving God as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a very talented cook; cinnamon rolls were her specialty! She loved hosting family and friends; her home was always open to others. She also enjoyed sewing in her spare time. Clarice was a loving Nonna to her seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be from 10:30AM-11:30AM on Monday, July 29, 2024, at Calvary Baptist Church (1775 Lyon St, Batesville, Arkansas 72501) with a memorial service following at 11:30AM. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
