Clarence F. "Polly" Pollock, Jr., 91, of Little Rock passed away Wednesday, September 09, 2015. He was born May 18, 1924 in DeWitt, Arkansas to the late Clarence, Sr. and Nannie Parker Pollock.
He was in the Army Air Corp in South Pacific with the 58th Air Fighter Group. He was a board member and a Sunday school teacher for 14 yeas with Faith United Methodist Church. He built and flew model airplanes and loved to play golf. Polly served as the physical fitness trainer at the Good Shepherd Ecumenical Center where he was loved by all.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Imogene Pollock; three daughters, Carol Hooten (Dennis), Kathleen Matthews (Paul) and Jamie Oberlag (Randy); seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Faith United Methodist Church, 9820 W. Markham Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday at Faith United Methodist Church in Little Rock. Interment with military honors will be at Noon on Monday at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
