Clarence Parker

Clarence "Sonny" Parker, 73, of Ward, Arkansas, was born January 4, 1938, at Carlisle, Arkansas, to Hobart and Lucille M. (Smith) Parker, and he died March 12, 2011. He was a member of Landmark Baptist Church in Beebe.
Clarence is survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Otha Nell; daughter, Tammy Bruce (Pat); and son, Terry Parker, all of Hickory Plains; two sisters, Mary Gentry (Jerry) of Des Arc, Lydia Parker Sullivan (Christopher) of Birchwood Village, Minnesota; two brothers, Hobart Parker, Jr. (Sherry) of Lompoc, California and Howard Parker of Birchwood Village, Minnesota; nieces and nephews, Tanya Pizel, Charlie Pizel, Billy Gentry, Kay Treadwell and Dale Gentry; and great-nieces and nephews, Savannah, Jarrid Eaton Pizel, Tasha Eaton Pizel, Eric Treadwell, Evin Treadwell, Erin Treadwell, Seth Gentry, Sydnie Gentry and Jonathan Gentry.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father; stepfather; brother, Hershel; sister, Beverly and father-in-law, Clyde Cox.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Butlerville Cemetery, Ward.
