Clarence Lankford

Clarence Roland Lankford, 83 of Russellville, AR, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018. He was born November 8, 1934 in North Little Rock, AR.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Creo Lankford of N. Little Rock, AR; three half-sisters, Ethel Forster, Ruth Finch and Edith Guthrie. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Ruth Lankford of Russellville, AR; five daughters and sons-in-law, Resa and the late Ed Evans of Russellville, AR, Valerie and Roger Gaunt of Fort Smith, AR, Sandy and Jon Clack of San Marcos, TX, Linda Freeman and Bradley Peach of Conway, AR, Donna and Rex Conatser of Frisco, TX; sister- Mary Kasper of N. Little Rock, AR; thirteen grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
He was a former grocery store manager of Kroger and Milgram's and they owned their own grocery store for over 10 years. He was a fisherman, loved camping with his family in the early years and enjoyed gardening and working in his yard. His favorite pastime was watching NASCAR races, Animal Kingdom and National Geographic. He loved coloring in his later years and sharing his artwork with his grandkids.
Service and interment will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Edgewood Memorial Park. A visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Friday, July 13, 2018 at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home.
