Clarence Johnston

Clarence F. Johnston age 74 of Arkadelphia died Sunday, February 1, 2009 in Little Rock. He was born August 15, 1934 in Clark County the son of Patrick and Jessie Hughes Johnston. He was a retired construction welder, a United States Army Korean War Veteran, and attended the Curtis Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny and William "Bill" Johnston.

Survivors include one son, Charles Johnston of Arkadelphia, one daughter, Terri Sterling of Greenwood, AR, two brothers, Carl and Earl Johnston both of Arkadelphia, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 10 A.M. Friday, February 6, 2009 in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Grover Kirksey officiating. Burial will be in the Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Curtis Assembly of God Church.
