Clarence Michael Cador, Sr., 73, of Benton, Arkansas departed this life on May 6, 2023. He was born July 2, 1949 in New Roads, Louisiana to the late Joseph Claiborne Cador and Mable (Lemay) Cador.
Clarence loved the Lord and was a member of the Eastern Star Baptist Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marines, where he served during the Vietnam war. Clarence had many hobbies including fishing, playing dominoes, and fixing cars. He was an amazing cook and made the best smothered chops, red gravy, fish frys, and pancakes. Family was most important to Clarence, and he looked forward to their get-togethers and spending time with them. Pecan candy was his favorite treat, and he tried to sneak some every day.
Clarence leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Evelyn A. (Edmond) Cador; children: Prince Nix, Jr., Lisa Edmond, Michelle Cador, Clarence Michael Cador, Jr., Mary Johnson, and Audrey Edmond; four grandchildren: Brittany Nix, Xenophron Brumfield, Ivyiana Cador, and Prince Nix III; best friends: cousins- Alcide Cador and Russell Gremillion, brother-in-law- John Edmond, friend- Anthony Daisy; and a host of family members and friends who love Clarence and will miss him always.
Services will be held in Belle Chasse, Louisiana under the direction of Robinson Family Funeral Home.
