Clara Murrell

Clara Belle Murrell, age 87 died June 15, 2006 in Eureka, Ca. She was born Nov. 22, 1918 the daughter of the late Odom and Mamie Thomason. She was a seamstress and a homemaker for most of her life. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friend. Her life stories will live on in the hearts of her grandchildren and great grandchildren to be passed on for generations to come. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee E. Murrell, one son, Albert Murrell, brother, Marvin Thomason and stepmother, Della Thomason.


Survivors include one daughter, Clarissa and husband Roy Woodham of Eureka; two sisters, Ora Copelan and Estella Stroope of Arkansas; sister-in-law and friend, Lurie Thomason; fourteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.


Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Saturday June 24, 2006 in Richwood Cemetery under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home of Arkadelphia. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity. To online guest register www.ruggleswilcox.com
