Clara dedicated her professional life to the noble field of nursing, earning her education at St. Vincent's Infirmary School of Nursing. Her career as a registered nurse at Baptist Hospital and St. Vincent's Infirmary was marked by her commitment to newborn medicine, where she touched the lives of countless families with her gentle care and expertise. Clara's easy-going nature and concern for others made her not only a treasured caregiver but also a wonderful mother and wife.
She was known for her sweet disposition, embodying warmth and kindness that resonated throughout her family and friends. Clara devoted herself to taking care of her loved ones, believing deeply in the significance of family bonds. Her legacy is carried on by her son, Robert Jude Goss, and her daughter, Gail Marie Walker Goss, as well as her eight adoring grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Clara is survived by her brothers John Hum and Pat Hum, and her sisters Theresa Kleinpeter and Bernie Renton, who shared joys and struggles, laughter and tears, throughout their lives. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Bobbie Goss, whose love and companionship defined much of her life's happiness.
