Clara Belle Dean Gadbury, age 51, of Newhope, died Sunday, January 8, 2012. She was born on June 11, 1960, at Oneida, Kentucky, the daughter of Hazel Dean and Dean Hornsby Dean. She was preceded in death by her father; two brothers, Alex Gay Dean and Eric Dean; and her step-father, Henry Spring. She was employed with First Step in Hot Springs; worked for twenty-ones years for Weyerhauser; was an EMT for Southwest Ambulance, Pafford and Life Net for over twenty years; and a CPR instructor for American Red Cross and the American Heart Association. She dearly loved her family and was always there to lend a helping hand to everyone. She is survived by her husband, Mike Gadbury of Newhope; four children, Brandon Gadbury of Pearcy, Jeremy Gadbury of Newhope, Latosha Morphew of Langley and Amber Gadbury of Newhope; three grandchildren, Dylan Gadbury, Kolton Gadbury and Parker Gadbury; her mother, Dean Spring of Nashville; six brothers, Harold Wayne Dean of Harrison, Indiana, Thomas Dean of Cincinnati, Ohio, Darrell Dean of Little Rock, George Dean of Sparkman, Daniel Dean of Nashville and Billy Heib Dean of McCaskill; five sisters, Frances Tedford of Nashville, Carol Moore of Loveland, Ohio, Christine Cole of Hope, Vickie Wish of Claremore, Oklahoma and Audrey Kidd of Nashville; one step-sister, Karen Volger of Nashville; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 11, 2012, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. Gerald Eaton officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
