Christopher Williams

Christopher Lee "Bubba" Williams, of McRae, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 5, 2016.

Christopher "Bubba" was a loving father, husband and hard working family man. He worked hard to accomplish the goals set for his family. He worked as a full time mechanic and technician at Maytag and AutoZone and mechanic at Beebe Cylinder Head Shop. He also owned his own mechanic shop. He loved his family and friends, and would do anything to help someone. Bubba was a big Mopar man and loved his Dodge Chargers.

He is survived by his fiancé and soul mate, Heather Rooffener; their four children, Caitlin, Haley, and Chloe Williams, and Riley Rooffener; grandmother, Wanda and the late Charles Williams of McRae; his parents, Franklin Williams and fiancé Brenda Cary, of McRae and Shelia (Mike) Ledford of Garner; two brothers, Sean Williams of Fayetteville; and Benjamin (Becky) Williams of McRae; future stepsister Sarah Collier and stepbrother Zakk Collier; four nieces and nephews, Timothy, Evan, Peyton, Savannah, Tidence Williams, and Link Hayes; Chas (Audrey) Williams, Carly (Zack) Hayes; and one uncle, Carl (Tina) Williams, of McRae.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles V. Williams; grandparents Madge and John Carmicheal and one cousin, Brian Yearta, Jr.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Shiloh Baptist Church, with burial in Weir Cemetery. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home.
