Christopher Saugey

Christopher Michael Saugey went to be with the Lord on April 17, 2016. He was born at Doctor's Hospital on August 27, 1980, the son of Vickie (McNew) Saugey and Tom L Saugey.

Christopher had a talent for all types of art, from sketching to painting, charcoal drawing, and was licensed as a cosmetologist. Christopher became a Registered Nurse because he was passionate about caring for others. He graduated with Honors from Pulaski Tech with an Associates of Science in 2006. He graduated with Honors from UAMS with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2008, and was a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, Honor Society of Nursing. He was a Hospice volunteer when he was not at work and a talented writer.

Christopher is survived by his Mother, Vickie Saugey of Little Rock; his Father and Step-Mother, Tom and Barbra Saugey of Little Rock; one sister Amanda (Saugey) Taylor and her husband Scott Taylor, and one nephew, Jackson Taylor, all of Little Rock; his maternal grandmother Linda McNew of Morrilton; his paternal grandmother Mary Saugey of Sherwood; and various other friends and family members.

Christopher is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather Doice McNew and by his Paternal Grandfather Henry Louis Saugey.

We will celebrate Christopher's Life on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Smith Funeral Home, 1921 Main St, North Little Rock, 72114. Services will be at 11:00 am with a reception to follow at Smith Funeral Home. Donations can be made in Memory of Christopher M Saugey to The Trevor Project or to Missions at First Assembly of God North Little Rock.
