Chris Morrissey, 23, of Beebe died Wednesday, August 17, 2011. Chris was very intelligent, full of determination, possessed a kind heart, and was an inspiration to those who knew him. He loved his family dearly. He was a 2006 graduate of Beebe High School and graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 2011.

Chris was preceded in death by his grandfather, Claude Litchfield; aunt, Deborah Hermann; and uncle, Todd Morrissey.

He is survived by his father, Troy Morrissey, of Illinois; mother and step father, Mickie and Roger Metcalf, of Beebe; fiancé, Shannon Kellagher of Dallas; brothers and sisters, Christin Morrissey Tharp and her husband, Jeff, Kiaya Morrissey, Kierra Morrissey, and Koletyn Morrissey all of Peoria, Illinois, Candice Metcalf and Brylei Metcalf of Beebe, and Cassie Metcalf of Missouri; grandparents, Mary Litchfield, Richard and Linda Morrissey, Shirley and Jim Holtke, and Arthur and Maye Metcalf; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 21, 2011 at Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday at Beebe First Baptist Church with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
