Chris Fagan, age 38, of Amity, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, April 14, 2012. He was born on June 26, 1973, at Hot Springs, the son of Thomas Wayne Fagan and Pauline Caruthers Fagan. On July 24, 1999, he married Autumn Mae Campbell. Chris was a 1991 graduate of Amity High School and held a Bachelor of Science degree from Henderson State University with a major in psychology. He was a member of the Amity First Baptist Church, employed by the United States Postal Service and was presently serving on the Amity City Council. Chris was known for his infectious smile, his laugh and the energetic manner in which he lived his life. He adored spending time with his children, family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, his music, traveling and studying his Bible. Chris is survived by his wife, Autumn Fagan; two children, Brittany Jo Fagan and Braxton Zayne Fagan, all of Amity; his parents, Thomas and Pauline Fagan of Alpine; his maternal grandparents, Virgal and Mary Caruthers of Alpine; his mother-in-law and fathers-in-law, Dicey and Billy Keith Horn of Norman and Randall Campbell of Glenwood; two sisters-in-law, Jacinda Campbell of Norman and Haley Campbell of Glenwood; and a host of family and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 18, 2012, in the Amity First Baptist Church with Bro. John McAnally and Bro. Josh Harper officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening, 6:00 until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Alpine Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Wade Garner, Aaron Campbell, Dean Porter, Gary Bean II, Benny Smith, Clayton Sorrells, Jody Cowart and Matt McAnally. Honorary pallbearers will be the doctors, nurses and staff of Arkansas Hospice. Memorials may be made to the Chris Fagan Children's Education Fund, c/o Chambers Bank, 111 West Thompson Street, P.O.
