Chom Keophannga, 79 of Mabelvale, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2008 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born on March 5, 1929 in Laos, he was the son of Phon Phonvilai and Bova Keophannga.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Chum Phonvilai, Hanh Ponthyedth, Vahn Keophannga, and Tanh Keophannga.
He is survived by his sister Chanh Keophannga of Laos, nephews, Vixen Phonvilai of Little Rock, Boulien Phonvilai of Russellville, Soulaphone Phonthyedth of Alma, Thong Keophannga and Vhanh Keophannga both of Fort Smith, nieces Sakonh Taylor of Fort Smith, Kaylee Chanthapasouk of Van Buren, Anna Keophannga of Minnesota and six great-great nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 13, 2008 at Our Lady of Good Council Catholic Church with Father Richard Zawadzki as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 12, 2008 at Huson Funeral Home, 6400 Mabelave Pike, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209
