Chester Samuel Henderson, 95, of Sherwood passed away Monday, April 26, 2010. He was a farmer and a member of Sylvan Hills Church of Christ.
He is survived by two sons, Chester Stanhope (Mary) of Pensacola, Florida and Bobby Henderson (Sharon) of Hot Springs Village; two daughters, Dorothy Jean McDonald (Quitman) of Sherwood and Mary Horton (Winston) of Jacksonville; eight grandchildren, Debbie Partridge, Kenny Henderson, Kara Newman, Scott Horton, Samuel McDonald, Chester Stanhope, Jr., Lori Criegler and Darren Henderson; nineteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Bobby Henderson; and five sisters, LuVesta Gibbins, Mevalene Booher, Georgia Nicholon, Emma Wallace and Alla Stahl. He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Dorothy Henderson; three brothers, Roy Henderson, Ellis Henderson, and Arlen Henderson; one sister, Addie Hughes; and his parents, George and Mary Henderson.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m., in Memorial Park Cemetery in Pine Bluff.
