Cheryl Lynn Spangler, 55, of Little Rock, passed away March 31, 2013. She was born in Painesville, Ohio, to David and Priscilla (Colgrove) Manley, and was a member of Fellowship Bible Church. Cheryl was a cardiac nurse in Ohio before being called to ministry in Little Rock, AR, with FamilyLife 17 years ago.
Preceded in death by her sister, Judith (Manley) Hanusosky, she is survived by her husband, Sandy Spangler; son Mathew Spangler (Stacy) of Painesville, Ohio; daughter, Michelle Gernentz (Joshua) of Mason, Ohio; her parents, David and Priscilla Manley of Leroy, Ohio; brother, Robert Manley (Kathy) of Painesville, Ohio; and grandchildren, Allea & Kaiden Spangler and Koleson & Kendalyn Gernentz.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 3 from 5-8 p.m., at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct., Little Rock, AR 72205. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.) Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday, April 4 at 7:00 p.m., at Fellowship Bible Church. Graveside services will take place at Williams' Cemetery in Leroy, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru), to be used for projects as well as mission supported staff which were close to Cheryl's heart.
