Cheryl Ann Hill, age 55, of Ward, Arkansas entered into the Presence of the Lord on Tuesday, February 28, 2012. She was born July 5, 1956 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Glen Akers and Helen (Jackie) Underwood Sanders.
One of God's angels on earth, Cheri was known for her compassionate, gentle spirit and giving heart. Cherie was a devoted Licensed Clinical Social Worker having earned her Master's Degree from Harding University Summa Cum Laude.
Cherie is preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Christopher Hill; her mother; her son, Michael Dean Rouse; stepdaughter, Shivonne McCarroll and her husband, Nathan; stepsons Chris and Phillip Hill; and six grandchildren; one brother, Glen Akers and his wife Trish; one sister, Sandy Branson and her husband, Wayne; as well as a host of family members and friends who loved her.
Cherie will be missed by her church family at Lighthouse Full Gospel Church in Judsonia and friends at Victory Worship Center in Beebe.
A Celebration Service will be held at Victory Worship Center in Beebe at 10:00 AM Saturday, March 3 with visitation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Cherie's name can be made to Teen Challenge Center of Arkansas, P.O. Box 8177, Hot Springs, AR 71910.
