Cheryl Baglio

Cheryl Baglio, 76, of Benton AR passed away on April 27th, 2023 after years of various health issues.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, William (Bill) Baglio; children: Sean Baglio (Michelle) of Sulpher Springs, TX and Brad Baglio (Kelly) of Benton, AR;  six grandchildren; three great grandchildren;  her brother, Frank Novakowski (Shelly); sisters: Toni Martin (Jay) of Mineola, TX and Denise Smith (Harry) of Benton;  multiple nieces and nephews; and one dog "Precious".

Cheryl is preceded in death by her father, Elmer O. Wheeler Jr.; mother, Betty J Stevens (George); and  brother, Elmer O. Wheeler III.

Cheryl graduated from Pampa High School in 1965 where she enjoyed singing in the choir and had many friends. Her career was in banking. She began at First National Bank of Pampa TX and completed it at Bank of the Ozarks of Little Rock AR. For 25 years, she was a devoted member of the Benton chapter of Beta Sigma Phi International Preceptor Apha Mu. Some of the things she enjoyed were camping, singing, music, friends, travel, crafting, church, eating out and family time.

She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Benton AR.  In her honor, a memorial fund was established, The Cheryl Baglio Memorial Fund benefiting Saline County Christian Academy (formerly, Victory Baptist Academy).  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at www.experiencevictory.net/giving. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M.- 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 2, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, AR, 72015. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM.
