Cheri A. Pantel

Cheri A. Pantel, age 57, of Mount Ida, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015. She was born on June 11, 1957, in Waukegan, Illinois, the daughter of George F. Howland and Ida Petkus Howland. She was preceded in death by her father. On December 12, 1998, she married Richard Pantel. Cheri was a union laborer for the Local #152 in Lake County, Illinois before moving to the Mount Ida area in 2006. She was a member of the All Saints Catholic Church in Mount Ida. Cheri loved animals and enjoyed the outdoors, especially all water activities. She is survived by her husband, Rich Pantel of Mount Ida; one son, Joshua Howland of Sturtevant, Wisconsin; her mother, Ida Howland of Bella Vista; one brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Heather Howland of Salem, Wisconsin; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Toni and Ted Barnett of Siloam Springs and Candee Isenheart of Twin Lakes, Wisconsin; one step-daughter, Shawuna Pantel of Twin Lakes, Wisconsin; two step-grandchildren, Trey Reynolds and Gage Fuller; and several nieces and nephews. The family will hold a memorial service at 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 23, 2015, in the All Saints Catholic Church in Mount Ida with Father Josh Stengel officiating.
