Charlton Wheeler

Charlton Dean Wheeler, 56, of Beebe, Arkansas went to be with his Lord May 1, 2018. He was born on December 17, 1961 in Searcy to Donnie and Linda Wheeler. He was a 1980 graduate of Beebe High School and served nine years in the Army National Guard. He was a machinist for Crosby National Swage. Charlton loved hunting, fishing, the lake, being outdoors, and was an excellent chef.

He is survived by his wife, Kara Beth Kennedy Wheeler of Beebe; one daughter, Caroline Grace Wheeler (Robyn Pinasco) of Beebe; his mother, Linda Corbitt Mays and her husband Cecil Mays of Beebe; one brother and his wife, Alvin and Cindy Wheeler of Beebe; special mother-in-law Carolyn Kennedy of Des Arc; and his special dog Sophie.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donnie Wheeler.

Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital Foundation, PO Box 2222, Little Rock, AR 72203.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2018 at Union Valley Baptist Church, 932 Hwy. 64 W, Beebe, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
