Charlotte Jeanette Thornton, 71, of Benton, Arkansas passed away May 10, 2019. She was born March 27, 1948 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Lem Thaniel and Cora (Thoroughman) Thornton.
Charlotte worked at Ed and Kay's Restaurant for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was an avid reader. Charlotte was a hard worker and was willing to help others.
Preceding Charlotte in death are her parents; and sister, Charlene Doan.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her brother, Gary Doan; aunt, Irene Ogden; cousins: Marilyn Pertuis and husband Bruce, Chris Pertuis and wife Sabrina, Stephen Pertuis and wife Tulip, Sandra Henley and husband Chuck, Sharon Hunter, Brian Henley and wife Marcy, Carla Robinette and husband Jonathan, Amanda Monks and husband Zack, Jeffrey Hunter and wife Emileigh, Charity Pertuis, Candace Pertuis, Layne Pertuis, William Henley, Brianne Henley, Courtney Henley, Savannah Hunter, Chevy Monks, Jon Robinette, and Kathlene Robinette; and a host of family and friends who love Charlotte and will miss her always.
Reception visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM, Thursday, May 16, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas. Graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Alexander, Arkansas.
