Charlotte Nutt

Charlotte Nutt, age 69, of Amity, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023.

Charlotte was born on February 26, 1953, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Leo Franklin Manning and Joyce Marie Kuykendall Cunningham.  She was preceded in death by the true love of her life, her husband of 55 years, Rickey Nutt; her parents; her brother, Donnie Wimbish; and her uncle, Don Kuykendall.

She loved going fishing, and even caught some really nice “picture worthy” ones, but even if she didn’t get a bite, she enjoyed just sitting and patiently waiting, just in case that one big fish might grab her bait.  Charlotte was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.  She dearly loved her family with all her heart, especially her grandchildren who she adored spending time with.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Charlotte is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jon and Gwen Nutt of Amity; her daughter and her life partner, Keli Mount and Byron Brunt of Amity; her grandchildren, Justin and Blair Nutt, Gavin Nutt, Jake Nutt, Shaylie Mount, and Jax Brunt; her great-granddaughter, Georgia Paige Nutt; her uncle and aunt, Roger and Mary Adrian of Jefferson City, Missouri; her aunt, Reba Kuykendall of Amity; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Patty and Ronnie Lyons of Hot Springs, Sandy Rush of Fort Smith, Rhonda and Paul Staggs, Kandy and Bill Lemser and Tanya Deaton, all of Amity; her brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Sherry Kuykendall of Amity; two sisters-in-law and their husbands, Glenda and Ken Harding of Glenwood and Christine and Bobby Perkins of Carlisle; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 16, 2023, in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. John McAnally officiating.

Visitation will be held Thursday, 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, at the funeral home.
