Charlotte Rae Lovett Capps

Charlotte Rae Lovett Capps, 72, of Mena, Arkansas passed away August 25, 2024 after a sudden and brief illness. She was born October 23, 1951 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Bobby Ray and Doris Edna (Fields) Lovett and lived much of her young life in Vivian, Louisiana, graduating from North Caddo High School in 1969. She married her high school sweetheart, David, in 1971 and the 2nd love of her life, Charles, in 2013.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents; son, Toby C. Jones; brother, Bobby R. Lovett Jr.; and husband, Charles M. Capps.

She is survived by her daughter, Heather E. Terrell and husband Shane of Belton, TX; son, Steffan A. Jones and wife Jen of Lewisville, TX; sister, Marcia D. Braudaway and husband Ron of Vivian, LA; granddaughter, Teri L. Martin and husband Danny of Sabrevois, Canada; grandsons, Adrian S. Terrell and Dakota M. Terrell of Temple, TX, Evan C. Jones and Michael T. Sodergren of Lewisville, TX ; ex-husband William D. Jones of Plano, TX; and a host of extended family and friends who carry forward her memory in their hearts.

Her laughter was infectious, her smile brightened even the darkest days, and her compassion knew no bounds. She was the sweetest, cuddliest, most amazing woman who loved her family more than anything in the world. Her passing has left an immeasurable hole that can never be filled.

Celebration of life to be held at a later date.
