Charlotte Mary Hughes died Monday, Jan. 12, 2015 at Sherwood Nursing and Rehab Center in Sherwood, Arkansas. She was born on August 12, 1925 to Irivng and Charlotte (Fitzgerald) Barager in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Owain and Mary were married on June 19, 1948 in Eau Claire, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband Retired Lt. Col. Owain J Hughes, her parents and sister Susan (Barager) Wittenberg. Survived by a nephew Thomas Wittenberg, niece Wendy Stenzel of Onalaska, WI, and sister in law Barbara Hughes Rice of Sparta, WI. Burial will take place in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, alongside her husband. Memorials to charity of choice.
