Charlotte Henry

Charlotte Ballard Henry, age 70, of Friendship, passed away Friday, September 23, 2021.  She was born December 11, 1950, to the late Jesse W. Ballard, Sr. and Joan Petray Ballard in Arkadelphia.  She is also preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, London Grace Bateman; and one brother, Neal Ballard.

Charlotte was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the hospitality committee.  She was with Walmart for 27 years retiring from the store in Arkadelphia. Charlotte loved crafting, decorating and spending time with her family.

Charlotte is survived by her two daughters, Cary Lynn of Friendship, Gala Allen of Benton; six grandchildren: Bradley Deweese, Zachary Collins (Rachel), Colby Manes, Tylor Collins (Becca), Cecily Bateman (Jordan), and Jessilyn Manes; five great-grandchildren; sister, Frances Corn (Mike) of Arkadelphia; and brother, Jay Ballard (Paula) of Vancouver, WA.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday, September 27, 2021, at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 85 Church St, Friendship, AR 71942. Burial to follow at Gilchrist Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2-4 PM Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home.
