Charles "Charlie" Greenfield

Charles Marvin Greenfield, 88 of North Little Rock, AR, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on September 2, 2023, after a courageous 2-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Charles was born on April 14, 1935, to Marvin Taft and Frances Kooler Greenfield in Batesville, AR.

Charles was a member of Sylvan Hill First Baptist Church.

Fondly known as Charlie, he had a gift for creating and building beautiful homes from plans, he drafted himself and created and fabricated many items from copper and other metals. He was an artist!

Aside from his passion for building, Charlie was a loving husband to his wife Helen Herrin Greenfield of 65 years. A devoted father to Robert Greenfield (Debbie), Cynthia Greenfield (Wayne), Elayne Smith (Kelly) and Marc Greenfield.

Blessed with six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren there was no lack of love for “Paw Charlie”. Charlie also leaves his sister Collen Dobbs of Austin, AR and stepsister Carolyn B. Lamb of Rancho Mirage, CA. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Frances Greenfield, his stepmother Chloe Elms Greenfield, brother Jimmy V. Greenfield and stepsister Sandra M. Dietz.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that any donations be made to CARTI Foundation, P.O. Box 55011, Little Rock, AR 72215.
