Charlestene Milligan

Charlestene (Pat) Milligan, of Little Rock Arkansas, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2019 at the age of 91. Mrs. Milligan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who cherished her family and always looked forward to a visit from the kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.

Born in Grange, Arkansas and raised in Cave City, she was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Ellis Washington Milligan. She is survived by three daughters, Amelia Ann Milligan of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Pam Burns (John) of St. Simons Island, Georgia, and Peggy Denman (Bob) of Little Rock, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Shannon Bieter of Bethesda, Maryland, Neil Denman (Becky) and David Denman, both of Little Rock; and three great grandchildren, Vivian, Nadia and Alex.

Mrs. Milligan worked for Lonoke Production Credit Association, Arkansas Farm Bureau, and served as a church secretary for Brookwood Baptist Church where she also taught Sunday School. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

The family expresses heartfelt thanks to the Villages of Valley Ranch Nursing and Rehab and Kindred Hospice for their loving end of life care.

Visitation will be today, Tuesday, November 19 from 6-7 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). The graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 20 at 1:00 p.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Mrs. Milligan's favorite charity, Samaritan's Purse.
