Charles Wilson

Charles O. Wilson, 95, of Little Rock went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 21, 2011. He was born in Sardis, Arkansas on June 13, 1916. He worked in the wholesale produce business for 50 years and was a member of the Church of the Nazarene for 70 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Belle Wilson; wife, Virginia Faye Wilson and brothers, Foy Wilson, of Little Rock and Dean Wilson of Mt. Holly, Texas. He is survived by two sons, Charlie Wilson (Cookie), of Mt. Pleasant and Steve "Wild Man" Wilson (Gail) of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Kyle Wilson, Celeste Molsbee (Nathan), of Little Rock, Rhonda Wilson, of Conway and Anne Linton (Dan) of Georgetown, Texas; one great-grandchild, Luke Tucker Molsbee; one sister, Mary Wray (Johnny) of Benton and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He loved the Lord with all his heart, was a true model of God's design for a man and had a servant's heart always putting others first. He loved people and was well-respected in the workplace and community. He enjoyed going to church, working in the yard, deer hunting, bream fishing and making people laugh with his quick witted sense of humor.
Visitation from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday at Calvary Church of the Nazarene. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday at the church with Rev. Rodney Shanner and Rev. Paul Holderfield officiating. Entombment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170.
