Charles Vernon "Spankey" Smith, 67, of Higden, Arkansas passed away Friday, August 26, 2016. He was born March 16, 1949 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Raymond and Juanita Smith.
Vernon is survived by his wife of 44 years, Brenda; son, Bryan; daughters, Kristy and Jackie; granddaughter, Pressley; grandson, Anthony and his beloved lifelong friends, Dub Hedrick and Doug Tinkle; and his special four-legged baby, Ellie Mae, as well as many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 505 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Friday,
September 2, 2016 followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
