Charles Phelps

Charles Van Buren Phelps, 84, of Jacksonville, AR passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2020. He was born in Malvern, AR on August 3, 1935 to Steven Corbitt Phelps and Ruby E. (Eskew) Phelps. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Clarice LaDonna Phelps, sisters, Mary Hinkle and Carol Hill.

He is survived by his daughters, Sherry Phelps Holt of Sherwood, AR, Lisa Phelps Cable (Denny) of Little Rock, AR, and Patty Phelps Johnson (Kirk) of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Chris Kirtley (Regan), Robert Sullenger (Stephanie), Patrick Sullenger (Emily), Joseph Sullenger, Brian Miranda (Paris), Brittany Strickland (Marvin), and Nikki Gorman (Wes); sixteen great-grandchildren; siblings, David Phelps, Ginger Phelps, Betty Hightower and Steve Phelps.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18th at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct, Little Rock, AR 72205. Visitation will be held prior to the services starting at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock, AR.

Following the burial, please join the family for a meal and fellowship at Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1402 E. Kiehl Ave., Sherwood, AR 72120.
