Charles Frank Palmer, 83, of North Little Rock passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017. He was born December 26, 1933 in Corry, Pennsylvania to Ervin C. and Greta M. Palmer. Charles was a veteran of the U.S Army. After his service in the Army, he received his pastoral degree from Houghton College and pastored several churches in Pennsylvania and New York.
Charles is survived by his wife Alice Palmer; daughters, Debbie Smith (Ken) of Spring Creek, Pennsylvania, Jean Morris (Ken) of Corry, Pennsylvania; sons, David Palmer (Trish) of Buford, Georgia, Mark Palmer (Barb) of North Little Rock, Arkansas; and their mother Marge Palmer; twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters, Mildred Cooney of Corry, Pennsylvania, Joy Bartels (Richard) of Sun City, Arizona; and a brother, Paul Palmer of Northeast, Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 3, 2017 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Memorial service will be at 2;00 p.m., Saturday, February 4, 2017 at First Freewill Baptist Church, 2001 Parkway Drive, North Little Rock.
