Charles Marshall
Charles A. Marshall, Sr., 88, of Avilla, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Marshall, son, Charles A. Marshall, Jr., parents, Henry and Martha Mae Marshall, and two brothers, John and Allen Marshall.
He is survived by his son, Wayne Marshall (Mickey); sisters, Thresa Guenther (David) and Mary Osburn; granddaughters, Jennifer Rogers (Ryan), Bailey and Brodie Marshall; and great-grandsons, Caleb and Levi Rogers.
Charles was a loving father, husband, and brother. He was a good man and a friend to everyone who knew him. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and Korea, a Free Mason and he enjoyed dancing.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 3 from 2-4 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Graveside services will be Monday, April 4 at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hills Cemetery at Avilla, officiated by Bro. Travis Matthews. Memorials may be made to the Benton Senior Citizens Center.
