Charles Long
Charles Steven Long, age 56 of Benton, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2009 at Veteran's Hospital in Little Rock. He was born on July 26, 1952 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Steve was a graduate of Central High School in Little Rock and proudly served as a U.S. Marine during the Vietnam era.
He is preceded in death by his parents Lonis Elmer Long and Mildred Smith Long. Survivors include his son Steven Long of Benton; three sisters Resa Gaston and husband Howard of Benton, AR; Linda Jaynes and husband Tommy of Maumelle, AR, and Vikki Middleton and husband Joe of Hot Springs, AR; and a cousin (more like a brother) Rick Long of Benton, AR.
Active pall bearers will be Max Long, Adam Long, Scott McKenzie, Shaun McKenzie, Randy Tucker, and David Tucker.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Fowler Cemetery in Paron, Arkansas. Visitation will be held from 9: 00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at Huson Funeral Home in Little Rock.
