Charles Wayne Kirkpatrick age 78, of Arkadelphia passed away Monday, February 19, 2018 in Hot Springs. He was born September 30, 1939, in Amity to the late Charlie Amos and Florence Eutha Adams Kirkpatrick. Charles was a founding member of Hot Springs Baptist Church in Hot Springs. He was a member of Arkadelphia Masonic Lodge # 381 and the Shriner Temple in Little Rock.

After graduating from Eaton Barber College in Little Rock, he returned to Arkadelphia where he worked at Unique Barber Service. He served as executive secretary for the National Barber Board of America and the Arkansas Barber Board for many years. Charles was the owner of ABC Barber College in Hot Springs and ABC Beauty College of Arkadelphia. He currently was with the Cutting Edge Beauty Salon in Arkadelphia.

Survivors are his wife, Marcy Kirkpatrick; his mother-in-law, Connie Jones; three daughters, Beth Waggoner and her son, Zachary Waggoner of Arkadelphia; Charsa (Paul) Wright and their children, Katy and Robby Wright of Benton; Stacee (John) Frazier and their children, Brendan and Allison Frazier of Russellville, Arkansas; and his loyal fur baby, Odie Anderson Kirkpatrick.

Service will be at 10:00 AM Monday, February 26th at Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery at Amity. Visitation will be 2-4 PM Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Jones Cemetery Fund c/o Dora Lea Bean 316 N. Hill St. Amity, AR. 71921.
