Charles Jones

Charles Jones, 81, of Hensley, passed away July 28, 2011. Born in Plainview, Arkansas to Herbert H. and Amanda Chesney Jones, he was retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service. He was a member of Woodson Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Beavers Jones; children, Evelyn Borchert (Johnny) of Hensley, Carolyn Harrell (Buddy) of North Little Rock, David Jones (Wendy) of Nixa, Missouri, Michael Jones (Angelique) of Mabelvale, Anita Martin (Robert) of Hensley, Kenny Jones (Monique) of Mabelvale, Anthony Stansbury (Johni) of Little Rock, Rick Jones (Jodie) and Chuck Jones; thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, S.D. Jones and Harold Jones, sister, Judy Briney and an infant sister.
Special thanks from the family to the staff of Arkansas Hospice for their loving and compassionate care of their loved one and his family.
Services will be held on Tuesday, August 2 at 11:30 a.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Rev. Joel Prickett. Interment with Military Honors will follow at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
