Charles “Boytt” Hutcherson, age 55, of Delight, left his loved ones on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.
He was born on November 6, 1967, in Prescott, the son of Cletius C. Hutcherson and Diane Whisenhunt Barton. Boytt was preceded in death by his stepfather, Rickey Barton.
Boytt worked as an electrician for many years, and he loved tinkering and working on things in his shop. He enjoyed playing the guitar, listening to music, hunting, and spending time outdoors. Above all, Boytt dearly loved and cherished his family. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, son, and brother, whose greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and friends. Boytt will truly be missed and while our hearts are breaking that we must let him go for now, we stand strong in our faith knowing he is in a much better place and this is not goodbye, but we will see you again someday soon.
Boytt is survived by his two daughters, who he adored, Britton Hutcherson of Antoine and Nikki Hutcherson of Delight; his loving parents, Cletius Hutcherson and Diane Whisenhunt Barton, both of Delight; his three grandchildren, Geordyn Hutcherson, Crimson Haze Hutcherson, both of Antoine and Josie Webb of Delight; two sisters, Stacie Hutcherson of Delight and Gena Barton of Hot Springs; and many loving extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 15, 2023, in the Brocktown Cemetery, near Delight, with Bro. John David Watson officiating.
Pallbearers will be William Hutchinson, Justin Cheek, Eugene Hill, Randy Cross, Tony Campbell, Ricky Cross and John Johnson.
Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home–Glenwood, 209 North Third Street, Glenwood, Arkansas 71943.
