Charles Patrick “Pat” Hooks, 68 of Mayflower, passed away September 4, 2022.  He was born December 20, 1953 in Little Rock to the late Charles W. and Mary “Donna” Hooks.  Pat was a graduate of Catholic High School.  Pat was a butcher by trade.  He started at Weingarten’s as a teenager.  He also worked at various independent grocery stores in North Little Rock and Mayflower.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, running his dogs and spoiling nieces and nephews.

He is survived by siblings:  Tommy (Bonnie) Hooks of Little Rock, Donna Stephenson, of Pine Bluff, Linda (Ferrell) Johnson, Margie (Clay) Worlow, D.D. (Rusty) Garner, John Anthony Hooks, Karen Hooks, all of North Little Rock, Mike Hooks and Chris Hooks both of Sherwood, Jane Hooks of Memphis, Susie Hooks of Hot Springs, Mary (Albert) Palmer, Joan Crews, all of Little Rock, Joe (Helen) Hooks and Sharon Hooks all of Hensley; 24 nieces and nephews; 16 great-nieces and nephews.  He will be missed by his extended family and friends.

Pat was preceded in death by siblings: Rita Marks and Bill Hooks.

Visitation is 10:00 to 11:30 am, Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Edgewood Memorial Park at noon.
