Charles Godfrey
Charles W. Godfrey age 77 of Bismarck died Friday. He was born June 27, 1933 in Okmulgee, OK the son of Ellis and Juanita Hughes Godfrey. He was a retired electrician, a member of the IBEW, a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and attended the Oak Bower Church.
Survivors include his wife Barbara Thornton Godfrey, one son, Michael Godfrey and his wife Mandy of Mena, two daughters, Trudy Mackey and husband Rick and Rita Herring and husband Steve all of Bismarck, one brother, Richard Godfrey of Orange, TX, six grandchildren, Jill Frazier and husband Jason, Ryan Mackey, Heath and Matthew Herring, Ashlyn and Justin Godfrey, two great grandchildren, Braley and Braden Frazier.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel with burial in the Hickory Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
