Charles Everett "Chuck" Singleton

Charles Everett "Chuck" Singleton, age 75, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016, at his home. He was born on April 6, 1941 in Shreveport, Louisiana, the son of Madison Singleton and Allie Pauline Melder Singleton. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Madison Daniel Singleton. He was the former owner and president of Service Painting of Arkansas. He loved watching his grandchildren play sports, enjoyed the beach and playing with his dogs. He is survived by his wife, Wendy Singleton of Texarkana, Texas; his son, Matt Singleton of Texarkana, Texas; his daughter, Polly Brooks of Hot Springs; two step-sons and their spouses, Simon and Betsy Mack of Daisy and Zach and Alethia Sirmon of Hatfield; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 23, 2016, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Bro. Kevin Jewell officiating. Visitation will be Friday, 10:00 AM until service time, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mount Joy Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Logan Brooks, Tanner Brooks, Tommy Sain, Bo Dixon, Brian Jewell, Jack Whatley, Micah O'Neal and Skylar Markham. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
