Charles Elmer Dunlap

All our lives are saddened with the loss of our father, Charles Elmer Dunlap. He lived a full and fruitful life for 93 years. He loved his family, friends, church, fishing, hunting and dancing. He especially loved hugs. Most of his career was at Planter's Lumber Company, first as a tractor-trailer driver. He soon moved up to Yard Foreman for 30 years. When they closed, he turned back to driving a truck again for another Lumber Company until his retirement. He always provided everything his family needed. Although he had to quit school in the third grade, he was smart and handy. He could build or fix anything. He is survived by his daughters, Anne and Susan, his son, Robert with his wife, Pam. He has a multitude of grandchildren and great grandchildren. He's now dancing in heaven with our Lord, his wife, Mary, and Gertrude, his mother-in-law (they truly loved one another.)

Our lives and the lives of those who knew and loved him are forever changed until we meet again in Glory.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 at Grace Church of the Nazarene (3923 Camp Robinson Rd. NLR) with interment following at Edgewood Cemetery.
