Charles A. DeRoche, Sr., 78, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, March 21, 2011. He served in the United States Navy on the USS Great Sitkin and was retired from North Little Rock Police Department after 23 years as a Sergeant. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandpa.
He is survived by his wife, Pat DeRoche; daughter, Charlotte DeRoche, both of North Little Rock; son, George DeRoche and wife, Jo, of El Paso, Arkansas; daughter, Tina Clayton and husband, Steve, of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; son, Tommy Watson and wife, Vicki, of Little Rock; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sister, Irene Elliott, of Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his son, Charles DeRoche, Jr.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland Ave., North Little Rock, Arkansas 72120.
